Emma is passionate about exploring the planet, and capturing the beauty of its natural world and its people through her photography.

Emma is originally from the Netherlands, where she grew up and pursued a Bachelors of Science in Econometrics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Upon her graduation, she moved to Uganda to found a micro finance start-up. After a Masters in Public Administration from the London School of Economics, she returned to East Africa and worked in development-driven financial services in South Sudan. Currently, she works as a consultant with McKinsey & Company across Pakistan, the Middle East and Africa. She spends most of her free time travelling for her photography.
